Their products are curated around Black mom sayings, parenting, culture, sisterhood, and everyday life from. Focusing on a Black woman’s perspective with comfort and conversations in mind. Though every Black Mom is different, Cocoiv understands we can all relate to the beauty that is Black motherhood.

Naked By Nature's, created by Amber Williams, mission is to empower all women through self love and care. They feel it is truly important to have healthy skin. Having sensitive skin herself, her passion is to create products that won't harm the skin and ensure that it is healthy.

You’ve heard it before, everything we do is ghetto until proven fashionable. Our Hoodrat Collection is all about taking the negative connotation away from words that are use against us and making them positive. So if you still have a problem you and your respectability politics are not welcomed.

Deanna M, creator of Bare Muse, started designing and buying to make sure people felt included. As someone that was at one point in time uncomfortable with her own body, she wondered if other women out there were also feeling the same. Understanding that there was a lack of balance in the lingerie market, Deanna wanted to create a brand that reflected her personality: Shy yet sensual. Modest and bold.

It’s a week later and we hope you all were able to reflect on last week’s list. Number 6 is about to really hit close to home but this is for Us. It’s time to get back and that mirror, point at yourself and say, “I am not a Pick Me.” That was actually for myself because whooo does number 6 hit home, but you know what let’s just get into it….
